UNTH Conjoined Twins: All Hands Now On Deck For Getting Assistance And Successful Surgery: (Photos)

4-month-old conjoined twins were reported to have been admission at  UNTH UNTH ituku ozalla with plans of undergoing separation surgery. But the hospital has been accused of not having the necessary equipment for the surgery which leaves the babies at risks of complications.
According to Carolyna Hutchings who shared the post on social media on behalf of Hopeville Foundation, hospitals in Texas and Canada have requested for the MRI and CT scans of the conjoined twins so as to see possible ways through which they can assist in separating the kids, but the hospital in Enugu had refused to release such, but rather had gone ahead to campaign for funds for the surgery without informing the parents.
The hospital had also been accused of giving out their own account details for the fund-raising.The parents can speak for them selves.

Recent developments following previous post by Carolyna revealed that UNTH Enugu later apologized for lack of communications and other forms of mismanagement of the situation, hence, corporation with all concerned bodies has commenced in order to see to the successful separation of the twins.

A lot of meetings have been going on for the safety of the kids and they have agreed to assist in sending out records to interested hospitals. We thank them for their cooperation . All hands are on deck now, ensuring miracle and testimony have the best care and surgery . By my research such surgery takes 10-18 hrs depending on its complexity , chances of survival is 5-25 percent , which could involve 20-25 surgeons , finding the best team for the surgery is our utmost priority regardless of where it would be.
